Restructure of the nursery to accommodate more 30 hour places
You may recall I wrote to you in March informing you of our successful capital bid with the Department of Education. I am writing to tell you of a change in the anticipated timeline.
Suddenly, it is all go with the reshaping of the nursery! To ensure we are ready to receive children in September our contractors for the rebuild are starting work at Robert Owen on Monday 12th June. It is very short notice and the project has to now focus on the fact that the nursery school will be open. The safeguarding and welfare of the children is the key priority for us, as is their continued learning and development.
The two classes most affected in June and July are Fir tree and Palm tree as they are the end classrooms. The other classes (Magnolia, Olive, Juniper, Oak, Chestnut, Banyan and Apple) will be redesigned over the summer holidays so the disruption will be much less. READ MORE.....
